We’ll have very limited amounts of free promotional swag to hand out, like posters and hand-numbered photo cards, and everyone who attends will have a chance to win an EXCLUSIVE listening event Turnstile tee. You do NOT want to miss this one – let’s celebrate a band that entirely deserves all of the praise.

It’s here! Saturday is 4/12 and also RSD 2025. Stop on by for some amazing collectible releases and storewide sales. And new this year, we have some Volta merch designed by local artists!
Doors open at 8 am. We’ll let in 10 people when the doors open and will continue to let small groups in every couple minutes until the line is gone, at which time the doors will be wide open!
The first 50 people in line will get a General Admission Summerfest ticket. The first 25 people to check out will get a tote bag with the official RSD 2025 poster and other goodies, including some from local stores (thanks to Plato’s Closet and Fava Tea Company!).
Then at 5 pm, we’ll be doing a drawing for MORE Summerfest tickets (5 pairs), a pair of tickets to HOGFest on 7/17, a pair of tickets to Linkin Park on 8/25, and some fun music and merch! Need not be present to win, but we do need your contact info. No purchase necessary, inquire at the door or the register to get tickets.
AND, if that’s not enough, we are also going to be putting out hundreds of preowned vinyl, including over 100 collectible and hard-to-find records.
On both Saturday and Sunday, we’ll have store-wide sales going on. Our vinyl sale section will have an even bigger sale, and all non-RSD music is 10% off. And preowned music and movies are on sale, too! Take 25% off any preowned music or 50% off any preowned movies priced at $29.99 and lower, plus 10% off any preowned movies and music priced at $30.99 and up.
The sale excludes RSD items, grab bags, and clearance CDs. All items are first-come, first-serve. RSD titles are limited to one copy of a given title per person/loyalty account.
Can’t make it in person? We will start online sales of remaining RSD product at 8 am on Sunday. Watch our Discogs page or check out our store at RSD MRKT to find great RSD titles that we can ship directly to you.

We are thrilled to officially announce that Sebastian Bach will be stopping by Volta Records in Greenfield, WI on June 6th as part of his Child Within the Man / What Do I Got To Lose tour.
Meet & greet starts at 5 pm and will run for two hours show up early to secure your spot in line. This is his only stop in the Milwaukee area!
Customers who buy a copy of the new album (on LP, CD, or cassette, and we will have plenty!) can get that signed and then also get another personal item signed AND take a picture!

On Tuesday, June 4, at 6 pm, we will be hosting a party with an exclusive first listen of Charli XCX’s new album ‘BRAT’ ahead of its June 7 release. Not only that, but we’ll have exclusive posters, stickers, and bags for all in attendance (first-come, first-serve).
We’ll also be holding a raffle for a chance to win one of 3 ‘BRAT’ flash drives. These will all be limited, so make sure to get here when the album starts!

We are hosting another listening party, this time for Grammy-winning artist Arooj Aftab in support of her new album “Night Reign,” which is out on May 31!
The listening party starts at 6 pm on Thursday night, May 30. We will have stickers and matchbooks to give away, and a signed litho as the grand prize!
You will also be able to purchase the album early during the listening party (not before 6 pm)! Go home with your copy right after hearing it in full for the first time!
